Crown Moulding

Applied where the wall joins the ceiling, Crown Moulding “frames” the room and provides an opportunity to enhance your color scheme with paint selections.

Although Crown (sometimes called cornice) was traditionally considered a more formal design element, the use of simpler profiles can offer a dash of excitement without stuffiness.

Atop a cabinet or bookcase, Crown adds a finished look and a sense of permanence. Even stock cabinets adopt a more custom look when topped with Crown.

As a “TopCap” or Pediment over windows and doorways, Crown adds height. Over a window it makes the windows seem immediately taller and makes the room seem brighter.
