Hardwood forests are measured in Cubic Meters (m³). American White Oak makes up about 16% of all hardwood forests in the U.S. The GROWTH of White Oak exceeds the HARVEST of White Oak every year.

How much? We harvest about 21 million m³ per year. That’s a lot of wood. But we grow about 39 million m³ per year. That’s right, the U.S. is increasing the supply of American White Oak by 18 million cubic meters per year.

That’s not a typo. Every eight-tenths of a second, our beautiful hardwood forests, just in the U.S. alone, grow a cubic meter of this one species alone. Doesn’t include Canada. Doesn’t include all the other domestic species.
